Emcon Services Inc.is a proud Canadian based company with over 30 years of success as an interprovincial Road and Bridge Maintenance Contractor. We currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in Mississuaga, Ontario as a Shop Labourer.

Reporting to the Mechanical Superintendent, the Shop Labourer is responsible for:
- Clean up in the shop and outside yard maintenance (including snow removal/salting), washing and greasing trucks, shipping and receiving and any other shop help as required.
- Assisting in the shop with organizing parts/inventory and travelling when required to complete part pick ups/drop offs from vendors etc.
- Assist Mechanical Staff.
- Assist with drop off/pick up of vehicles and equipment.
- Operate equipment within the yard.
- Tire repair/replacement on light duty vehicles.
- Other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate must have:
- Valid Class G Ontario license;
- Ability and willingness to work independently or as a part of a team; willing to travel
- Helpful, friendly and courteous with the public, regulatory agencies and peers;
- Punctual, willing to work shift work which includes weekend work and be willing to work during all seasons/weather;
This is a unionized role.
