We currently have an opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to join our mechanical team as 421A Licensed Technician & Apprentice for our Sudbury, Ontario division at our Lively, Ontario shop.

Compensation & Additional Information:
- Hourly rate will be based on experience and qualifications, as per the collective agreement;
- This position includes participation in on-call rotations, with opportunity for overtime (OT);
- Company vehicle may be provided while on-call, as required.
Qualifications include:
- Licensed Heavy Equipment Mechanic (421A);
- Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence;
- Knowledge and experience in Preventative Maintenance Programs;
- Knowledge and experience in engine/emission diagnostics, electrical diagnostics and repair;
- Knowledge and experience in heavy truck hydraulics, pneumatics, brakes, suspension, and steering;
- Knowledge and experience on electrical and electronic system;
- Knowledge and experience in fabrication and welding considered an asset;
- Good knowledge of trade related worksite safety;
- Experience on industry related heavy-duty equipment such as gravel trucks, grass cutting attachments, winter maintenance attachments, loaders, grader, sweepers, mowers, backhoes, tractors, etc.
- Capable of working overtime as required
- Capable of performing call out to attend vehicle breakdown
The role is a unionized role.
Pay Rate: minimum of $40.08 hourly but negotiable; based on experience, skill set, qualifications, and location of the position.
