Emcon Services Inc. is a proud Canadian based company with over 30 years of success as an interprovincial Road and Bridge Maintenance Contractor. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our Peel-Halton, Ontario team as a Summer Seasonal Labourer.

Reporting to the Road Superintendent, the Seasonal Labourer is responsible for:
•Yard and camp maintenance; washing vehicles;
•Prepare and operate light equipment such as ½ ton trucks;
•Perform garbage collection and litter picking of yard and in contract area;
•Assist with fence repair, embankment repair, sign repair, pothole repair;
•Assist with general turf maintenance – i.e. mowing, trimming. Shrub/tree maintenance;
•Report all accidents/incidents/injuries to the Supervisor and complete required documentation. Notify appropriate personnel regarding damage to equipment as well as needed repairs and/or operational problems;
•Other duties as assigned
The successful candidate must have/be:
•Valid Class G Ontario license in good standing;
•Provide a clean driver’s abstract;
•Ability and willingness to work independently or as a part of a team; willing to travel
•Helpful, friendly and courteous with the public, regulatory agencies and peers;
•Punctual, willing to work shift work which includes weekend work and be willing to work during all seasons/weather.
