April is Cancer Awareness Month
Across Canada, it’s a time to recognize how many people cancer touches and to support those going through it. The Canadian Cancer Society runs the Daffodil Campaign each year, raising funds for research and support services for Canadians facing cancer.
Most of us have been affected in some way. A parent, a partner, a friend, a coworker. For some it’s happening right now. For others it’s something they carry with them every day.
At Emcon, we focus on keeping roads safe and reliable. For someone heading to an appointment or going to see a loved one, that matters. If we can make that part of their day a little easier, that’s something we can take pride in. You never know what someone is dealing with when they get behind the wheel.
This month is a good reminder to slow down, be patient, and look out for each other.
